Lonnie Jacobson, 63

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Lonnie Jacobson died unexpectedly from complications related to diabetes on July 16. He was the husband of Dina Jacobson and the devoted father of Harold “Yossie” Jacobson. Born in Providence, he was the loving son of Ruth Jacobson of Providence and the late Harold J. Jacobson. He is survived by his sister, Susan Shapiro, and her husband, James Carroll, of Warwick, and his nephews, Gregory and Micah Shapiro.

Despite many years of illness and disability, he managed to maintain a positive attitude and to enjoy what life offered to him. He found solace in his family and friends, and lived a righteous life.
