Burlington (Vt.) BDS resolution

RI Coalition for Israel (RICI) issued an “Action Alert” to the community in regard to this dangerous proposed resolution (Inside Jewish Rhode Island, September), and we are happy to report that a dozen community members stepped up and sent individual emails to the mayor and City Council members in opposition.

Ever since the city of Durham, North Carolina, passed an anti-Semitic ordinance prohibiting police training exchanges with Israel, RICI volunteers have monitored upcoming city and town council meeting agendas in Rhode Island with an eye to proactively heading off such developments in our community.

Today the effort must be expanded to include school committees that are pushing anti-Semitic Critical Race Theory into the schools.
