Joseph Beckler, 99

TAMARAC, FLA. – Joseph Beckler passed away on Nov. 25. He was the beloved husband for 75 years of the late Selma Ruth Beckler, who passed away five days before Joseph. He was the son of the late Morris and Ida (Meltzer) Beckler; devoted father of Mark Beckler and Francine Zeitz (David); loving grandfather of Chaim Zeitz; dear brother of the late Gussie Goodman and Anna Carnavale.

Joseph had lived in Tamarac for 12 years, previously he was a longtime resident of Warwick. He worked for American Insulated Wire in Pawtucket for over 40 years and was a member of the Local 1203 IBEW. After retirement he worked at Hertz Rental Car in Warwick, where he was referred to as “Uncle Joe.” Joseph was a member and former officer of the Loyal Family Circle. He enjoyed projects around the house and garden and took pride in his family car. Joseph loved spending time with his family and playing card games with friends.
