Join Jewish Collaborative Services' Adoption Options at its "Faces of Adoption" event on Thursday, May 26, at 6 p.m. at the Dwares Jewish Community Center in Providence. This event, which used to be held yearly, will be held for the first time since 2019! If you have ever been to "Faces of Adoption," you know that this is a positive and moving experience.
Several adoptive families will share diverse perspectives on their adoption experiences including LGBTQ+ adoption, transracial adoption and open adoption. Hearing families share their journey that resulted in their becoming parents through adoption is POWERFUL.
If you or anyone you know, is considering adoption, this panel discussion is a wonderful place to start. It is always a heartwarming event.
This is a free event, and all are welcome to join. Refreshments will be served, and there will be plenty of time for questions.
